A few days ago I saw people on here talking about how you never go to the McDonalds next to the greyhound bus station in downtown Houston.

Since my apartment is close to the area, naturally I decided I would go check it out and this is what happened.

Before I ventured into the abyss I decided I would dress in old raggedy clothes, avoid using deodorant for the day and jogged around for a while until I reached swamp as level 100. I blended in quite well and got to talk to some of the folk and learn some of their stories. Was pretty cool.

So after shooting the s**t with the homeless crowd for a while I decided to walk back to my apartment and that’s when things went downhill.

A super shady guy with the thickest African accent I have ever had the privilege of hearing started following me halfway back wearing a tattered uniform with glued on badges. So as I start walking past the Starbucks this guy gets on his phone and starts pretending his phone is a radio bridged to a 911 dispatcher, mumbling out bogus codes.

Saying stuff like you can come down here and arrest him blah blah blah, I sat down at one of the restaurants and waited for my coffee I had ordered when the guy confronts me. As I am sitting down, the man towers over me and unleashes a barrage of insults, in the span of 30 seconds I was belittled, called a hoodlum, told that my composure offends the tenants, and that I need to get out of there and as he is telling me this I look up at him and say “uh whaaaat” and he starts pointing at a bunch of old white farts saying “they are tenants! You do not have the composure of a tenant, you must go now!”. I turn around and all these white folk are giving me the side eye.

At this point all I said was “alrighty” and walked away, but he kept following me, belittling me about how criminal I appear until I went into another store.

Honestly this was pretty hilarious and not what I was expecting.
