We have so many repetitive and vague posts being submitted that get very few comments, and popular threads with lots of good conversation being removed just as they’re getting good. Mods aren’t active or very responsive and there’s no telling why submissions are being removed.

Can we propose some new rules in the comments and then up/down vote them to have them implemented?

I received a traffic ticket (Changing lanes not in safety), and was planning to request the Deferred Disposition option.

I know that if I were to request this option and not get another violation within 90 days, the ticket will get dismissed. I have 2 questions:

1. When does the 90 days start. 90 days from the traffic violation? Or the day the request gets accepted?
2. If I were to get another ticket #2 let’s say 6 months later, can I request to take the Mandatory DSC/MOTC course to take care of the 2nd ticket? I’m trying to minimize the amount of points I get on my license, but want to be prepared in case I get a ticket for petty things like this lane change. To my understanding the DSC can only be taken when I haven’t gotten a violation within 12 months, but I dunno if the first ticket would be considered a ticket if it’s dismissed through the Deferred Dispostion.
