zoo – are the animals treated well and happy in this one?

ive heard of some zoos where the animals look sad and arent treated well or lack space. i was wondering how houston zoo ranks in terms of happy animals.

also, is it hell to go on weekdays already with summer basically here? wanted to check out tthe whole place and the galapagos exhibit. im avoiding weekends and fridays just in case the parents with kids just let them roam free

is it even worse on tuesday?
