Yesterday’s accident on West Dallas

I haven’t found any news articles but there was an accident yesterday afternoon around 1 PM on West Dallas right across from my apartment building. A driver hit a man walking his two dogs and one of the dogs was killed and the man was in bad shape. Does anyone know how the pedestrian is doing?
