Yes ANOTHER One of Those "What to do here posts" BUT…

So basically, I won a 2-night 3-day trip to Houston. I'll arrive early day 1 and leave late on the last day. July 5-7th. Staying in a hotel downtown right by the metro, with no car.

Need food recs and MUST DOs

Prefer cheaper / free options but am willing to spend as I am mainly leaning towards the Zoo and HMNS since I am only a 30-minute metro ride away. (Not interested in citypass FYI)

Also I've heard things about: Cidercade, Contemporary Art Museum, Menil, McGovern Gardens, Buffalo Bayou Park… opinions on these or alternative suggestions?

For food, I heard vietnamese is good here, would be interested. But any other must tries (aside from BBQ)?
