Year in Review: School districts contend with Covid-19 disruptions
The Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic was one of the biggest disruptions the country’s education system has ever seen.
Covid-19 closed K-12 schools on and off, slashed budgets and caused a huge amount of stress for parents, students, faculty and staff alike. The Texas Education Agency paused A-F rating for the 2020 – 2021 school year due to the pandemic, though it continued forward with STAAR tests.Â
