Year in Review: Moody Foundation committing $1B to Texas education was a Deal of the Week

The $1 billion commitment, which includes some major donations in recent years, is one of the largest grant commitments ever made by a private foundation in Texas, according to the Moody Foundation. The new M-Pact Fund will help the foundation reach the $1 billion mark by 2035.
