Aside from baseball’s saving itself the vicious PR hit had real games been erased by money talk, perhaps the best thing to come out of the lockout is an acknowledgment from MLB commissioner Rob Manfred that he is not very good at his job.

“One of the things I’m supposed to do is promote a good relationship with our players,” Manfred said. “I’ve tried to do that. I think that I haven’t been successful in that.”

Yay, Rob.
