Yankees 2023 Rotation vs. Astros (Since 2017)

I wanted to see how the new "best rotation in baseball" has stacked up against the Astros since 2017. Obviously our squad has changed over the years but the bulk of the playoff stats have come from 2020-2021 where our squad is essentially the same. Note that the IP are represented as (0.1IP=0.33, 0.2IP=0.66) to calculate ERA correctly. It's also important to note that Rodon had a career high 178IP last season and has had a history of health issues. Cortes also had a career high 158IP last season and plans to pitch in the WBC before the season. He was obviously fatigued come October and I don't expect him to have the same level of success in 2023 that he showed this year. I expect a bit of regression. submitted by /u/Sacagawesus |
