Y’All Think Houston’s For Me?

For background, I’m a college student from rural NorCal, and I’m seeking a city with plenty of tech jobs, warm weather, lots to do (without covid), decent public transportation (not good, but SOMETHING), decent schools, and somewhat affordable. Is Houston really the city for me? I’m okay with humidity for a short time, but not like 9 months lol. Also, I’m fine with traffic, as long as I can live close to downtown in a good and somewhat affordable suburb like 10 miles out of the city or something.
