(x-post from r/Texas) Texas Compassionate Use Doctors in Houston.. I found one on the CURT website but are they legit?

I'll probably have to delete this eventually but let's chat /r/houston

So I found a physician who is listed as working for Medical Marijuana Doctors of Texas https://medicalmarijuanadoctorsoftexas.com/.

I found their phone number on the CURT physician search. I'm getting sketched out by the process, they are making it sound relatively quick and simple but are basically asking for $400 upfront for the appointment, and prescription. Does anyone have any experience with this? I think I'm going to go ahead and go through with it since it's worth it, then update y'all here. The CURT website also allows you to report physicians so if it all goes bad, at least I'll get to report them to maybe prevent it from happening more. Any advice? If you need more info let me know.
