Wow, what happened to Sunny 99.1?

I get that radio is dying, and maybe it's just because it's Christmas, but the commercials are out of control. Two songs and then like 5-10 minutes of commercials, then two more songs and then 5 minutes of the radio hosts talking/asking listeners to donate. I know it wasn't this bad last year. I only listen to the radio on Christmas. Is it like this year round now?
