Would you run a red after 3 light cycles?

I sat thru 3 light cycles and my left turn never turned green. Stayed red. I moved back and fourth.. no dice. It wasn’t the camera sensor but the black lines on the floor. Tried to position my truck on the lines, behind it near the cross walk.. still nothing. Yes I could have gone straight and made a u-turn but I had time.. cars behind me either went around and ran the red or made a u turn. Eventually I ran the red once it was cleared. What’s the legality of this? Would you have ran the red?
