Worth living in Houston?

Hi! I’m thinking about moving to Houston. Is it worth living there? Do you like living in Houston? Is it worth living in Houston, knowing that a hurricane could come any year, and flood away your home? I’m just really really really hesitant moving to Houston because of Hurricane Harvey.
