Woodlands-based hospitality co. cuts jobs due to resort’s COVID-19 closure
Benchmark, a global hospitality company based in The Woodlands, cut more than 100 jobs in South Texas due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The company had to cease all operations at Waves Resort Corpus Christi, at 14353 Commodores Drive on North Padre Island, on March 21, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act letter sent to the Texas Workforce Commission.
