POiSON GiRL FRiEND, is a musical solo unit by nOrikO who is a singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and DJ based mainly in Japan. She was born in Tokyo, raised in Brazil where she was educated in a French-language school, and spent some time in London. Musical influences through those experiences over the years – classical music, Brazilian dance music, French chanson and pop music, British New Wave, club and electronic music from the early 1990s – contribute to the distinct sound of POiSON GiRL FRiEND, characterized by its integration of various genres and global sounds.
