Window Wood Rot

We noticed paint bubbling around a window. Naturally I did what you're supposed to do when you see something out of the ordinary….I poked it with a pen. It looks like the wood is rotting away on the window sill and on the sides of the window. What I thought was some water intrusion from the storm looks like its been there much longer. I don't know what kind of other damage might be hiding behind the drywall. Does anyone have any suggestions on what company could fix this? I called a window company and they said they don't repair wood rot. I've had such bad luck with contractors in the past I figured I would ask reddit as a shot in the dark.
