Window manufacture in Texas? Thinking of replacing windows in new home.

Hi, I just purchased an older 1978 home here in Central Texas. The windows are very old and came with the house. Im looking for advice on good brands for fiberglass or alum windows. I dont want vinyl as Ive read they are not too good.

My budget is modest but I want a good product. Lowes has Pella fiberglass windows. If any other great windows come to mind, please let me know. Much appreciated.
