Will you help me with a discussion I had?

My co-worker and I were having a discussion today about sports in general, and more specifically the NFL. He is of the mindset that the NFL is almost entirely rigged. Games are made to be close via officiating decisions and penalties called/not called. He believe the NFL sells a narrative surrounding certain teams and will manufacture certain teams to win games and ultimately win the Super Bowl. I'm fascinated by this sort of thinking, as I tend to believe in the sanctity of most sports in that on the whole, they're not "rigged" or have pre-determined outcomes in the name of profits or a "story line". So I created a poll in which to gather some information to help try and see just how many others think along the lines I do or he does.

Feel free to take the poll I created around this topic if you will.

No personal info is collected and I will share the results after a few days. Feel free to post responses here if you'd rather not take the poll. Any feedback on the poll is welcome!
