Overall, it looks like we gave up a 2024 1st, moved back in the 2023 2nd, and moved back in the 2024 3rd in order to move up and take a two-time unanimous All-American player from Alabama, the best defensive player (arguably the best overall player) on the 2023 board, and very likely the highest rated player on the Texans’ 2023 board.

Seems like a great deal to me for such a cornerstone piece of this team’s future. I’m hyped.
