In the last 2 years, only Jamal Adams was a top 10 pick that was on an All Pro team. Literally had a fifth and seventh round picks be All Pro this year or last year. Go look in the last 5 years and see how many All Pro safeties were top 10 picks.

Wasting a pick on a safety would be the dumbest thing to do when odds are there is a solid safety available in rounds 4-7.

Never draft a safety unless it’s the last piece you need for an elite defense, which the Texans don’t have.
