Why so many reviews at Kamp?

The restaurant on Westheimer shows up often in my social media feed….so I was curious and went to Google maps. 7,000+ reviews in only a few years?! All of them seem to reference servers by name. Curious what the scam is here….leave a positive review and then get a discount on your bill? I use google maps a lot when researching places to eat but I’ve never seen anything like this.
