Why fast-casual and ‘eatertainment’ concepts are booming

If fast-casual dining seems like it’s booming in Houston and across the country, that’s because it is, with no sign of slowing down, according to a report from Los Angeles-based CBRE. 

The top 20 fast-casual chains nationwide had an average sales growth of 24 percent between 2015 and 2018, driven by budgetary constraints of millennials, the report says.
