Why did the Stros Play the D-Backs this Year?

Quick question for the all-knowing stros fan: as y’all know, the AL west played the NL East this season, but our second series of 2022 was against the Diamondbacks. Does anyone know why they have this one-off interleague series? I’m pretty sure we play them again in September.
