Why did Jim Crane fire Click? Why did he give bagwell more power? Why did the organization become less analytical

He gives bagwell so much power when he isn’t good as a executive and hires a old school scout heavy/non analytical Exec in Dana brown. Why did Crane move away from what made the Astros so successful? It’s mind boggling
