why are we still paying him?

can someone tell me why a dude who

a: refuses to play for us

b: is so inflexible he'll only allow a trade to one team and

c: even if the first two weren't true, he's being accused of going on a literal sexual assault combo run

is still being paid millions of fucking dollars for something can't AND won't do?

I'm sure no one here wants to the texans to pay him (I know I sure don't), but I'm curious if anyone has any thoughts on why exactly we HAVE to, by cba rules
