Why are townhomes in Midtown so much cheaper than in The Heights & Montrose?
I'm looking at townhomes in various parts of inner-loop, and I'm seeing townhomes in Midtown that are $100-150k cheaper than comparable townhomes in The Heights & Montrose. Has Midtown really gotten so bad that living there has become that much cheaper than other areas? Or have the other areas just gotten better?
I always knew Midtown as a place that people in their early-mid twenties frequent, but I didn't think it was THAT bad of an area.
