why are there so many solicitors inside and outside of buildings in spring

for 2 days in a row every store i walked into i had someone soliciting a product or something to me

in heb some electric company wants to know how much i pay for electricity as soon as i walk into the door

in target at&t wants to hunt me down while I'm shopping for batteries.

then there's people outside of the ups store trying to get me to sign up for something but won't get the door for me while I carry the world's heaviest box inside the store like

what is the deal lately this is ridiculous why are stores allowing this to happen i don't mind a girls scout sale outside or something but at&t needs to solicite inside of another business??
