Who should I ask for help finding apartment based on income or what I can afford?

I’m recently divorced and bring in $2700 a month. At this point a second job isn’t possible BUT I am working on finding easy to supplement my income to bring in more money.
I need to find an apartment/condo/townhome in the or near Jersey Village, Champions and/or down 249 both sides of hwy up to Tomball. If that makes sense. I need a 2 bedroom/2 bath because I have a teenage daughter. the complex area needs to be somewhat safe if that’s even possible.
Who do I turn to for help? A realtor or apartment finders? Just need suggestions please.
