Who remembers Chirps on 20th st in the Heights?

Literally my entire childhood. Was there since way before I was born till about 2016-2017. I have not found another Chinese restaurant that makes fried rice just the way the cooks at Chirps once did. The owners were still young so I can’t believe they didn’t just open another location. Currently standing is Rice box but I don’t like it as much lol. I prefer Sichuan pepper on N. Shepherd in Garden Oaks.

That entire block is literally my childhood (early 00’s kid) as a matter of fact. The Kroger has been there for ages. I remember when the Walgreens used to be where the goodwill is at right now. And don’t get me started on the Mcdonalds across the street! I remember when it used to have a playground. Damn. I’m fucking old. Anyone else remember these times? Don’t mind me…I woke up feeling extra nostalgic haha. (I live in the past) 😂
