It is entirely possible (actually more like probable) the Royals are playing great baseball right now. From what I know about baseball, you don't stumble into a 9-1 record.

Our guys are underperforming and there couldn't be a worse time for us to run into a hot team, but a little credit where credit is due. We've been flat out beat.
