Where’s the Flakiest, Butteriest Croissant in Houston? 🥐✨?!!

I’ve been on a serious hunt for the flakiest, most buttery croissant in town, and after trying over eight places (yes, EIGHT) in Houston and Katy, I’m still coming up empty-handed.

I’m talking about a croissant that shatters into golden, crispy flakes with every bite—not the soft, bready imposters that are better suited for sandwiches. For some reason, I never struggle in places like New York or even Wisconsin (of all places?!), but here in Houston, it’s been a struggle.

I even started an Instagram series documenting my search 👀, but at this point, I’m questioning if true croissant exists in Houston 😕. I've been blessed with croissants from Turkey, Germany and Paris 🥐🙏
