Where to rent for work at Greenway Plaza

Hi! I will work at Greenway Plaza during the summer and I think it will be a good idea to rent an apartment nearby. What do you think about living within walking distance of there and where would you suggest looking for an apartment? I am looking for a place where I will be able to pass through without using public transport as much as possible. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!
