where to get a reasonably priced cut for curly, mid length hair? (mens)

ik this gets asked a lot, but i’m struggling with finding a good answer. so far i’ve heard big kats and masters barbershop a lot.

i’m looking to trim out some of the bulk of my hair but NOT GET A FADE. no fades, please lol. so a barber/salon that can do scissor cuts and isn’t insanely priced. thank you!
