Where to donate very gently used baby clothing?

I have read that places like Goodwill get so much baby clothing that they sell it (?) to be shredded and recycled. That sucks. My baby clothing is in great shape, organized by size, and could be used by someone in need. Where can I donate gently used baby clothing?
