Where should I live being single (rent)

I am sorry if this was asked before. For some context, I am in my 40s divorced and have no children. I am planing to move to Houston (can be suburb if infra is there) from Florida for a change of scenery. I have had a full time remote job for years. I am hoping you can provide some guidance. I am planning to rent a condo to get a feel of the town

1- Best places to live knowing my stats. Perhaps, a place that is more convenient so that I can get to places quicker and not battle traffic.

2- How bad is traffic in Houston?

3- How is Healthcare? In South Florida we are well served with plenty of doctors, out patient surgery centers and hospitals

4- How does Electric work when you live in a condo? Can you shop for rates or is set by the HOA?

5- any gotchas? I understand this may sound like a weird question, but it is about things people out of state should know. Any advise would help
