Where can I go to see cargo/container ships?

I have a mild obsession with cargo ships. I can’t explain it but, I do. I was wondering since we have a giant port here where I can go to see some of the cargo ships pull in? I know it’s probably terribly difficult to get into the ports, but are there any good vantage points? I’m willing to drive anywhere I need to see one, no joke. Also, if anyone knows any groups, on reddit or otherwise, that happens to harbor (haha get it?) other weird, container ship obsessed people like me, or any other resources, please let me know.

Note: I’m not interested in those “cargo voyages.” The ocean is terrifying and I do not want to be on a giant hunk of metal floating through it. Also all the ships I saw on my brief perusing of those websites were little tiny baby ships. I’m only looking for the real chonkers.
