Where can I celebrate Mardi Gras this year?

I’m an international student living in Spring.

I don’t have any friends lol (except my roomie) and not a car either, so im limited by the metro bus.

Is there going to be a parade in Houston? Can anyone recommend a place to go that is free or at least cheap? Do they have parades or party in the streets in Houston?

I have seen how they celebrate it in Galveston but I can’t get there by bus sadly. The longest I can get is basically anywhere the metro and bus goes. It’s fine if it’s far, as long as the metro or bus can get there.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance 🙏
