Where are the best places in Houston to read?

I enjoy reading, and love envisioning the perfect spot. Something like a cozy coffee shop with nice fragrant smells, soft music playing, a light rain tapping the windows outside. Or maybe somewhere nice and calm.

I know there's a ton of coffee shops—I work at a Starbucks myself—but I was wondering if there were any in particular, or any tea houses, or especially quaint libraries, that I could sit in and read for a couple hours. I'd love to hear any recommendations. Thanks!
