When the hell can we stop spending high draft picks on the O-line?
Forget competing for a starting spot; the reality for Juice is that he can't even win the backup job from Ed Ingram—a guy who was already washed out of another team. Is this what we're supposed to expect from our prospects? And what about Blake Fisher, last year's 2nd-rounder? A year in, and it's questionable if he even has starter potential.
But is this just about a few individual players? Hell no.
Over the last four years, we've poured top-tier draft capital into our O-line: one 1st-rounder (Kenyon Green) and THREE 2nd-rounders (Scruggs, Fisher, Ersery). That's four premium picks.
The fact that out of those four, maybe one—or even NONE—is a starter on the field right now is proof of a total failure in this team's scouting and development system. This isn't just disappointing; it's a fucking disaster. It really pisses me off.
I'm not even asking for a great O-line. Just please, give us an AVERAGE one.
