When did pedicures become so expensive??

I just suffered serious sticker shock over a basic 20 min pedicure. No massage, minimal soak, basic polish, no drying station before being rushed out the door to walk pretty much barefoot with wet nails the two blocks to my car (their parking lot was full).And, while paying, no option to leave zero tip.
