What’s your favorite place for a walk outside the Loop?

I'm a columnist at Houston Landing — the new nonprofit newsroom that just launched. We're planning an event where we can meet up with readers to chat about what's on their mind while we all take a walk together. Our last one was at the Arboretum, and we'd like to get outside the Loop for the next one.

What's your favorite place outside the Loop for a nice, hour-ish walk (preferably with some shade)?
