What’s it like for middle income (around 50 to 70k) families in Houston?

I’m from Killeen but live in Dallas with my wife, daughter and a baby on the way. Thinking about checking out Houston. The housing market has been insane here since Covid hit and everybody moving here. Have y’all felt that too? Or is it just in the DFW area?
