What’s if a good zone to live between the woodlands and downtown ?

Hello, would like a recommendation of a good and safe zone as in looking an apartment to rent for my family, if it's a zone in-between the woodlands and downtown its even better as I work in the downtown and my wife in the Woodlands, thanks!!
