What’s going on with the lights?

Has anyone else noticed how dark the highways are at night? I was driving around river oaks last night and of course they have Christmas lights, decorated trees and all the works. But as soon as you get on the highway literally none of the lights were on. It’s not the first time either. I just don’t understand why this happens as houston has busy roads all of the time. People are constantly speeding over the limit. At least make it as safe as possible and keep these areas, affluent or not, well lit and as safe as possible. Just take a look around next time you’re out at night, driving through diff areas, and see for yourself. It’s aggravating.
