Whats about to happen

No I’m not talking about panic buying groceries before the freeze.

So my family just moved to Houston from Ohio. In the last week or so we’ve see a frightening amount of fireworks stands suddenly popping up. Whats up? Should I be stockpiling fireworks to battle me neighbor’s?

Back in Toledo on new years it was common to play gunshots or fireworks? But we are talking about maybe a couple dozen shots. There are currently more fireworks being sold in my neighborhood than my whole former state leading up to July 4th.
