What would it take for BoB to get fired next year?

I know this will probably get a ton of angry or joking replies. But in all seriousness what do you think would be the game changer? I believe that if we miss the playoffs or get blown out in the first round again McNair would finally have to make the change. Unfortunately, even if we narrowly lose in the first round next year I'm not sure anything would happen.

I can see where ownership hesitates to fire him this year. Just from the 10,000 foot view.

4 out of 6 years we won a division title.
Made some good trades the past year.
Last two seasons have been double digits win seasons.
Players love him.
Had some winning seasons with terrible QB play and now finally has a generational qb.

I could see them being nervous with the head coaches that are available not being any better than what we have. There are counter arguments to all of those points. Personally, I think you only play for Superbowls. If he can't take us there in 6 years we should make some changes and should have been fired this year. At the very least had some responsibility pulled away from him.
