What went wrong with Aj Reed and Francis Martes?

I know these cases of prospects who were hyped and failing happens all the time. So was just curious specifically what happened in your guys opinions to these 2 in the majors?

Not a "bad scouting or critique" kind of post since this happens all the time in baseball of course.

They were our top 2 prospects at one point in a pretty good farm. Even if there were more talented players that were listed lower since they weren't at that point in their growth, still staying something.

Martes I remember has some nice pitches, but then again so do many "busts". AJ Reed I have no clue, was this just a case of AAAA kind of players? Or was there some flaw in their games that was obviously punished in the big leagues?

Or would you say it was simply just the mental jump and adjustment to big leagues?
