What to do while in town.

This is my last resort. It has been too long that I have been looking for work, and I have a family to support. My options for borrowing are exhausted, and I didn't even want to do that in the first place. Its just this city is too large and too competitive for entry level workers like myself. I am originally an artist, but I dont have the digital tools required to make money at it right now, nor do I have the space to sculpt stone in any capacity. So, I am looking for some kind of honest work that pays decently, so that I can afford childcare, food, etc. While still being able to pay my rent.

Any ideas?
