What subcultures and unique Houston-area organizations are alive and well?

I am looking to sit in on some neat organization meetings in Houston. I am thinking along the lines of flat earthers, chess clubs, Christian rap subcultures… and anything else that may not attract large crowds, rather small passionate groups
